Visit To Corbett National park

A few days back I was in Rudrapur- ,an Industrial area in the Utarakhand state, for some work, where I decided to visit Jim Corbett a national park in the mountainous region of Uttrakhand, I am fond of travelling to unknown places and have visited lot of places in India, many times alone.
So this time also I was alone, full of energy and enthusiasm as I headed to visit the most famous Jungle in India. I boarded the Bus from Rudrapur to Haldwani , there are number of local buses that ply between these places ensuring good connectivity.

Small Bridge in-route to Haldwani.
I soon reached Haldwani, It was already 2-1/2 hours since I started my journey , next I was to board the bus to Ramnagar, which could finally land me up near the park, So within half an hour I was there at Ramnagar, It was already 12:00 o'clock, but I could hardly feel the effect of Sun and the cool breeze was shaking my soul. It was a wonderful feeling to be away from work, to be away from everyone, just enjoying the company of nature.
For entering into the Jungle one needs to have the permit and the car (not car actually, but you need to have an open Jeep), I check with the authorities but all the permits were sold, I was shattered, moving here and there, enquiring people about the possibilities of getting passes to the Jungle, but all in vain , I soon was convinced that I have to return back.

As said if you desire something deeply, everything will fall in place for you and so did something happened , I met an agent who promised to get me into Jungle for Rs 1200.00/-, I was really happy at that moment and my desire was soon going to be reality.

Hired a  Jeep for Visiting Corbet

We were to go 11 Kms inside Jungle and as we proceeded the temperature in the Forest started dropping , there was tranquility in the area , the birds were chirping , we could see monkeys and Elephants moving in the area, as the forest is famous for its tiger. there are 270 tigers in the region and around 100 leopards. , so I asked the driver about can I get a sight of Tiger ,or whether they are generally visible in the area. he replied that sight of tiger is mere a chance and generally they remain in deeper part of Jungles , he also shared that as there no boundary between the jungle and the city so at times the tiger enters the city and kills the people. 2 month before a tiger has killed 7 women in Jungle who went for cutting the grass.

he also shared stories about bears and how the village women protect themselves from bear.I also heard stories about the "Ghosts" and "Maya".
The driver was very interesting person he mesmerized us by his stories, soon we entered the deeper part of the jungle. In the end part of the Jungle , The police post was there , with several policemen , who stays there to protect the animals from the poachers.

The whole experience was mesmerizing, and being in the lap of nature is entirely a different experience.
I am planning to take my family to Jim Corbett National Park sooner, and if you ever come to Utarakhand must visit that Place, as in the end it is our memories that only remains with us.

Side effect of being at Sea Side

Today was an amazing yet tiring day being at Sea Side on a rainy day makes it even better. In Chennai there are only three seasons "summer" ,"hot summer" and "hottest summer", I was fortunate that rain God was in mood and that made my day even better, watching rain drops falling on sea was very much fascinating. How a drop immingle with Sea is something worth watching for.

Mother nature has created everything perfect for us yet we humans never embrace the gift of nature, we run , hide and do everything that we can to avoid a gift that is freely available with no discretion. As the rain started everyone started looking for a shed to hide themselves, the vendors closed their shops, within few minutes the beach was bare,as if the Rain and the sea were looking for privacy, the insatiable thirst of the sea was apparently visible.

Soon the rain ended and the life at beach was back to normal. The small children were were asking their parents for a sea bath, the lovers were back on the field, the food vendors uncovered their stalls and the whole atmosphere was giving an awesomeness experience, cool breeze was blowing and there was a feeling of awesomeness from within as if the romance of nature has touched our souls.

I decided to take the second plunge in the sea after the rain stopped, but this time it appeared the sea was more ferocious then before. I went inside the sea, and decided to go at a higher depth, after small struggle, I was there to combat the sea, I kept the fighting on, staying continuously at a single level in the sea, but the pro approach of the sea was evident, a high wave made be struggling for breath and dragged me, by the time I could recover, there was another wave that dragged me to the sands, and my nose got scratched by the rough sand, I was enjoying the struggle but with my nose scratched , decided not to take another shot with the sea,

Now I standing completely wet dehydrated, with my nose thrashed, headache, and a bad taste of sea water. I checked my pocket to get some money but it was all wet, fortunately I had enough coins to purchase food items , my jean pocket was full of sand , I emptied my Jean pocket and went to have the sugarcane juice. The juice was having amazing taste probably because of the salty taste of the Sea water. I stayed there at the beach until it was dark.

Today was my encounter with the mother nature, probably I believe it was the side effect of being at Sea side.

It is Midnight over here and My eyes are looking for some sleep now , So Gud Nyt everybody , Sleep Tight :-)

Amazing Sunday Afternoon

So here I stands at Asia's second longest beach - Marina Beach, on Sunday afternoon , believe me the whole place becomes alive on weekends , thousands of visitors, couples, families swarm the place on weekends. This is the place that unites whole of the Chennai, from pauper to emperor everyone comes to this place to get immersed in the magnificent beauty of the sea, some people ignite their love life with vibration of the sea whereas for families it is a good picnic spot,

Thousands of street vendors are selling their products,. From Pani puri, Chat, to pakodas, there are lot of foodstuffs to satisfy my tongue. Most of the vendors here are Tamilian and I am  finding it hard to communicate with them. the language is a barrier here for the outsiders and very few people are able to understand English

Everyone has a reason to be here, So here I am with a reason -"finding my desires", sitting by the sea side makes me happy and perhaps this is the reason why I believe I will find my desires sitting by the seaside only.

The sea is by itself amazing and appears it has soul of its own unlike the lakes which I find them as soul-less, and I am going to embrace its Soul now, taking a plunge in the Sea.

So happy weekend ... God Bless Us All.
